These are exciting times for the Cricket Club with a major development programme underway affecting our sporting surfaces and Clubhouse.

Planning permission has now been obtained for both an artificial hockey pitch and major refurbishments to the main building.

The EGM held at Thornton Hall Hotel on the 8th April saw the members give the Joint Development proposal an overwhelming thumbs up.  Although we still have plenty of hard work to do and a little fundraising, demolition is still scheduled to begin in early August 2008.
